XP Tweaker 1.53 is a program for tuning an optimizing Windows XP.
The program can be installed and run in English, Russian or Ukrainian.
XP Tweaker allows you to setup different options in several parts of the system, that will allow it to run faster and in a more secure way.
You will be able to change options in the System section (such as Enable clear page file at shutdown, disable Dr. Watson, do not record last access time on files, disable SFC, enable UDMA-66, among others).
The Multimedia section allows you to enable MP3 encoding, automatically download codecs from Internet, disable CD Autoplay or XP CD Burning Tools.
The Protect section lets you configure some protection settings, like disable access to Task Manager, disable Regedit, Log off, Windows Shutdown or the execution of applets, and other features.
You can also fix settings for your Desktop (including Recycle Bin and Icons), Connection Settings, Uninstall Programs, configure XP Utilities or define applications restrictions. |
